Salt Lake City, Utah – (Release the thread) – 06/01/2022 – Allison Corry has been appointed as the new Chief Supply Chain Officer and Vice President of Organization of the Intermountain Healthcare supply chain.

Corry will lead the development of Intermountain SCO’s future digital roadmap by creating the vision and strategic plans for all aspects of the operation including materials management, logistics, services, integration of operations and procurement. She is the first woman to hold this position at Intermountain.

“Intermountain has always been focused on supply chain innovation and this is one of the reasons we have been successful during the pandemic and continue to be recognized by the industry,” said Corry . “I look forward to leading our teams as effective drivers of system and industry change that will reduce costs and prepare us for future healthcare challenges.

Corry worked at Intermountain for almost three years, as Assistant Vice President of the SCO System Supply Team and was involved in many innovations that have earned Intermountain national SCO recognition.

“It will be exciting to see Allison continue to raise the bar for our already strong, award-winning and well-recognized supply chain organization,” said Bert Zimmerli, Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Intermountain. “She is a respected and talented leader who brings passion, dedication and innovation and is supported by a great team! “

One of the most significant changes Corry will help bring about is delivering extraordinary service through faster adoption of technology. This includes using big data to better forecast supply chain challenges, while moving more aspects of the hospital supply chain to a direct-to-consumer model.

This includes a new partnership with Zipline that will allow Intermountain to deliver drugs and other supplies directly to patients. Corry says this is an important step in expanding the benefits of telemedicine.

Corry will also continue to focus on improving service at Intermountain and adapting to the opportunities and challenges associated with the COVID-19 pandemic.
